• Got pulled over tonight....


• (sh*t!, what did I do...I have flashback from Nov 2 2007)


• 2 cops (1 lady and 1 bloke) (uh...should I play the "I'm Deaf" game with themmm....)


• Lady Cop: Do you...stop...understand? (What??!! - had to explain I'm Deaf and I was in a hurry home to see my son who's sick)


• Lady Cop: Oh, OK - uhmm, you realise you sped through two stop signs.


• Me: No, I didn't and if I have, I'm sorry - I must have been in the wrong here, I was in a hurry home to see my son. So sorry.


• Lady Cop: Well, give me your licence and registration please. (nervous and shaking...sh*t, I do not want another fine - probably two of them!!)


• Lady Cop: What if someone was walking...


• Me: Well, I would have stopped but that isn't the point. I was wrong. Really, my bad. I should've been more careful.


• Lady Cop: OK, well...we're going to give you a warning! Just don't do it next time.
  
• Me: (relieved!) oh sure, you got my word - I promise. I won't do that again...uh, thank you...t-t-thank y-yo...(she walked away)

A Sun's Love

About two weeks ago, we had a naming ceremony for Tobian. I wanted to share with you all a poem I wrote...

A Sun's Love
I thought I understood love,
Until you came into my world.
I thought I understood magic
Until our eyes met.

The Sun rising on the horizon,
Roses blooming everywhere.
Tears drop, tears into a smile,
The smile melting in my heart.

Your laughter stops my world,
Picking you up and holding you tight.
Is this enough? Never enough.
Love is infinite. Love has no concept of time.

In the west, the Sun setting,
A petal of rose blowing to the west.
Our eyes locked to the Sun holding together,
Tobian, you are my Sunshine nor day or night.

Cyber-shot...

Whoa!! Sydhappyguy (aka DJ Bad Wolf) handed me a new Cyber Shot -

I am bemused.

What should I do with it??

It's all so new to me...

Shoot it? Film it? Paint it? Capture it? Snap it?

Gosh...how long do I have to wait? 6 hours, I have set up my clock at 4.50am to wake up. Why?? Battery, that's why - I was told charge it for 6 hours. (I don't want to wait for 6 hours tomorrow so I'll get up at 4.50am!!). Yeah - tomorrow's going to be a DAG day. Come eighty eight, eight! So looking forward to it...
