Depression (not the emotion)...

Made you look, didn't I? The news was on last night on the Stock Exchange crisis and how this can lead us, the World, into another depression or recession. But are we already in the "depression" - is the media covering it up? A financial correspondent for one of the news channel said the World is at more risk than during the Depression in 1930's because of how well connected the World is via the internet and monies across the exchange. It is a scary thought. All I have to do is to remind myself that we are lucky we live in Australia and to appreciate what we have. You get what you get. Money is not everything. It seems that there is a long challenging road ahead of us and we need to stick together and be strong!!

Wow scary times ahead I think makes us appreciate what we do have and that material things can come and go in an instant.

Let's hope we've learnt from history and create a newer New Deal based on creating new jobs and opportunities in the area of cutting down on greenhouse emissions and promoting renewable energy sources.
